The Northernmost peninsula of Númenor. The least fertile part of the land, it was covered with high moors covered with heather or woods of fir and larch. At its northern end, great cliffs (Sorontil) rose to meet the sea where many eagles dwelt. Tar-Meneldur built a tower here to use as an observatory to watch the stars. FolderLocations
