This is the first WikiWeb I maintain, hence I hope and pray that this Wiki will work, that it will get what little success it might deserve. I hope and pray it will survive among the continuously growing community of Tolkien-fans gathering in hundreds of BBSs or other online communities.

Why Wiki works???

Honestly, I have no idea ... not yet, anyway ... but this Wiki works well for more than 2 years now without major problems...

But since I'm not the first who comes up with this question, you may wish to check out other people's opinion about this issue (e.g. here: WardsWiki:WhyWikiWorks, or here: DseWiki:WarumWikiFunktioniert; the latter is in German, as you might have guessed already).
