Name given by the Calaquendi to those Elves who either refused to begin the GreatJourney (The Avari) or did not complete it (the Úmanyar) and hence never saw the light of the TwoTrees in Valinor.

The Sindarin term was Morbin (singular Morben). The Teleri called them in their language Moripendi.
