Tarannon, reigned TA 830-913. Twelfth King of Gondor, and first of the great Ship-Kings. He was the first king to die without issue, his nephew Eärnil I succeeding him to the throne.

Dúnadan, son of Siriondil. He served as {Captain of the Hosts}? during his father's reign, building great navies and winning victories and land along the coasts, especially around the Mouths of Anduin. He became the 12th King of Gondor and the first of Gondor's Ship-kings. However he was the husband of the evil Queen Berúthiel who used her cats for spying the people of Gondor. When Tarannon learnt this, he punished her by setting her adrift on the GreatSea with her cats for company. He died childless, succeeded by his nephew Eärnil.
