A naked hill in the southern Greenwood the Great. The Nandor under Oropher mantained a town there suring the SecondAge, which was abandoned when Oropher lead his people northwards. About III 1000 Sauron entered the forest, and maybe later he built a fortress there. The hill and fortress were since known as DolGuldur.
