From the Seat of Seeing, Frodo could see Rohan and Orthanc in the west, Ethir Anduin in the south, wide unchartered lands in the east. Little is told of how far he saw to the north. According to Barbara Strackey, the view from the Seat of Seeing must have been some 300 miles.
