The name of the statues on the way from Edoras to Dunharrow, given by the Rohirrim. They were carven by the MenOfMountains? maybe during the FirstAge and represent the ancestors of the Druedain.

The name of the statues on the way from Edoras to Dunharrow, given by the Rohirrim. They were built by the Menof the Mountains during the First Age. The statues represented the ancestors of the Druedain who were persecuted, mistaken for Orcs.

The name derives from Old English puk which is a kind of goblin in folklore (Cf. the name Puck). Indeed the other Men often mistaked the Druedain for Orcs and persecuted them.
