A term synonymous to the Quenya 'Calaquende' (cf. Calaquendi), as used by the Noldor, in Sindarin.

However according to the policy of Doriath, a Calben was not the Elf who reached Aman, but a person who belonged to Doriath, or a Noldo. The others (Falathrim, Mithrim, Laegil, Avari etc) were called Morbin (singular Morben).
