White Towers

The three white towers built by Gil-galad for Elendil. They remained standing until the FoA, when they became the western boundary of the Shire. In Elostirion, the highest of the towers, one of the larger Palantíri was kept.

Eleanor Cotton Hamfast (?), {Samwise Hamfast}?'s daughter, moved her family to within sight of the towers. When Sam passed into the West she was the last to see him depart.
