3. Part of the The Lord of the Rings Computer games series by Electronic Arts.

This game is available for many different plattforms like for example the PS2 or the PC. Its a third-person action/adventure game which covers almost exactly the content of the film. Many original film scenes are included and also the music is by Howard Shore, who also created the music for the LOTR films. You can play with eight different characters, including Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam, and Frodo.

The game has also multiplayer support, which includes the new coop(Co-Operation) modus where you can play with your friend side by side
