One of the ThreeRings, the highest of the Elven Rings of Power. The Ring of Fire, set with ruby. It was first kept by Círdan, the Shipwright and Lord of the GreyHavens, who passed it to Mithrandir (Gandalf) when the latter arrived in Middle-earth (~ThA 1000):
