Isengard

Fortress build by the Dúnedain in the early days of Gondor in NanCurunir, a great valley at the southern ends of the MistyMountains, opening into the Gap of Rohan. In its center was the tower of Orthanc, Isengard was abandoned in the ThirdAge and since ThA 2759 again inhabited by Saruman.
