Glamdring

Gandalfs sword, made by the Elves of Gondolin.

Forged during the "Goblin Wars" (Wars of Beleriand) in the First Age. Glamdring along with it's sister sword Orcrist, once wielded by King Turgon of Gondolin were taken to Angband after the fall of the Elven city. They were later recovered by the dwarves during a raid on a goblin hoard and ransomed by the Noldor of Lindon.
