Andrath

According to Unfinished Tales, a defile (a narrow pass or valley) between the Barrow-downs and the South Downs, through which passed the North-SouthRoad or Greenway.

While the Ringwraiths infiltrated the Shire and the Bree-land in September 3018, the Nazgūl Lord established a kind of headquarters at Andrath. From here he visited the Barrow Downs, his presence and influence stirring the Barrow-wights (who were in origin his servants) and probably also Old Man Willow and the menace of the trees of the Old Forest.

"I do not know, but it seems clear to me that this is what happened. Their Captain remained in secret away south of Bree, while two rode ahead through the village, and four more invaded the Shire. But when these were foiled in Bree and at Crickhollow, they returned to their Captain with tidings, and so left the Road unguarded for a while, except by their spies."
Gandalf, The Fellowship of the Ring

Andrath is Sindarin for "Long-climb". It should not be confused with Cirith Forn en Andrath, the Sindarin name for the HighPass over the MistyMountains. The name appears on the map at the end of The Lord of the Rings.
