Aldor

Man, 3rd King of Rohan, second son of Brego and brother of Baldor and Eofor. His elder brother Baldor was lost in the Paths of the Dead, so Aldor succeeded his father. He was just twenty-six years old then, and his reign was the longest (75 years). Aldor completed the conquest of Rohan east of the Isen driving off the Dunlendings and in his time Harrowdale and other valleys of Ered Nimrais were settled. Aldor had many children, of which the three eldest were daughters and he was succeeded by his eldest son, Fréa. Aldor because of his long reign and old age (died 102 years old) he was remembered as the Old.
